So I took a week off while I was in China.  But I’m back.  Last week on The Amazing Race, five teams traveled to Stockholm, Sweden, where they obtained ROUTE INFO after riding a Fritt Fall and tossing rings at coned Travelocity gnomes.  At the DETOUR, teams chose between Nobel Dynamite or Viking Alphabet.  After every team decided to blow things up, they were faced with an Amazing Race SWITCHBACK where they had to travel back to Bogs Gard Farm

This week on The Amazing Race, six teams traveled from Dubai to the Netherlands, where they had to search for the Cornelis Lely Monument for ROUTE INFO.  From there, teams drove to Groningen and the Martinitoren tower, where the ROADBLOCK required one team member to ascend the stairs of the carrilon and count the bells (the correct answer was 62).  Once completed, teams had to don traditional Dutch costumes (one male and one female), ride bicycles in clackety wooden

Despite Tiffany and Maria’s plea “to please leave Dubai,” this week’s adventures continue in Dubai on The Amazing Race.  The place really seems like a rich person’s Vegas and the city has so much to offer—so no complaints from me.  Seven teams leave the Souk Madinat Jumeirah and head to the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club with a locked briefcase.  Once they arrive, the ROADBLOCK requires one team member to row an inflatable dingy across rough currents to a

This week on The Amazing Race, the eight teams were told to fly from Cambodia to the Persian Gulf, where they had to locate the world’s tallest building, the Burj Dubai.  (Mad props to Ericka for knowing the world’s tallest building is in Dubai.  Not so for Sam and Dan who tried to get tickets to the “Persian Gulf”—isn’t that technically the middle of the ocean?)  After ascending to the 120th floor, the teams received their first FAST FORWARD clue
